What are study circles?

Study circles are informal gatherings held in a local home. Bahá’í study circles are formed to engage in a study of the series of courses published by the Ruhi Institute. We invite those who would like to know more of the spiritual teaching of the Bahá’í Faith to join these study circles. There is no obligation nor is there any charge other than a nominal fee for the books. There are currently six books used in this series of courses. Each of the books deals with one or more themes from the Bahá’í writings. During the course of the study circle, participants will be able to read and reflect on the writings from the major figures of the Bahá’í Faith: the Bab, Bahá’u’lláh, and Abdu’l-Baha. Participants have the opportunity to discuss these themes lead by co-tutors who have completed the sequence of Ruhi books. As the books build upon one another, it is highly recommended that the books be taken in order beginning with Book One (Reflections on the Life of the Spirit).
